Shannon Spake
Shannon Spake (born July 23 in 1976) is an NASCAR reporter as well as a college football and basketball reporter at Fox Sports. Before that, she worked at ESPN in which she was a contributor to SportsCenter to give pre and post-game reports and additionally, she was a sideline reporter on behalf of SEC at ESPN basketball games in addition to college football games. Spake also worked for the new SEC Network, which is controlled by ESPN. Spake had previously worked at Speed Channel. There, she was host of NASCAR Nation (June through November 2005) in addition to serving as reporter. Together with Marty Smith, she co-hosted Back Seat Drivers (a talk show) alongside Marty Smith. Her previous on-air jobs included stints at WCCB located in Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as Carolina Sports and Entertainment Television.
